There are many key conventions to double page spreads as during my analysis i had to delve in to. One feature that a double page spread is the page numbers and footers, these can help reference were to go to if you would like to find a page. The footer would be a website reference perhaps, giving the magazines website and more further detail in to the storey. Another key feature on a double page spread would be the writer credits. this is the writer on the storeys' name placed underneath it to show who wrote it and also give credit to who wrote it. Another very important key feature found on every double page spread is a big headline to title and anchor everything on the page together. This lets you know who and what the story may be or is about. Another really important key feature of a double page spread is the artist
picture spreading over the two pages to represent and con notate the fact that it is a two page spread not just one. Another very important feature for double page spread is the column layout, this is used to structure the writing (Storey)along the page to sit Nicley next to the artist photo. The last key features you would expect to see on a double page spread are pull quotes these are statements made by the artist brought out in to bigger to emphasise the importance of something funny or revealing.
